CLINTON COUNTY ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP

Dear Clinton County Community,

Over the past three years, the Clinton County Economic Partnership (CCEP) has focused on strengthening our county as a place where businesses can grow, visitors can explore, and residents can thrive. We are especially grateful for the continued investment and partnership of First Quality, Croda, Truck-Lite, and Avery, which have expanded their operations locally and continue to provide quality jobs while meeting both business and community needs. The initiatives listed below, among others, are playing and will play an important role in moving our area forward.

• CCEP has worked to advance economic development by assisting businesses with grant opportunities, supporting industrial and business park development, strengthening regional partnerships, and advocating for job creation and investment. A major achievement was the acquisition of the Storey property in Renovo, positioning it for future development and revitalization.

• CCEP recognizes room for economic growth. There are available buildings, and we have developable land at William Garbrick, Sr. Lamar Township Business Park.

• Our Chamber of Commerce strengthens connections among businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders through networking events, ribbon cuttings, mentorship opportunities, and improved member services.

• Community leadership development remains a priority. Leadership Clinton County has graduated over 300 individuals who continue to serve as volunteers, board members, business leaders, and community advocates.

• Healthcare in Clinton County continues to be a key focus as we adapt to a changing environment. Bucktail Medical Center, Geisinger, and UPMC are vital partners, and we work closely with them to help meet the healthcare needs of our community.

• Clinton County’s education system supports learners at every level, from preschool through high school at Keystone Central School District and its Career and Technical Center program, and on to bachelor’s and master’s degree programs at Commonwealth University–Lock Haven.

• CCEP continues to support Clinton County’s tourism and outdoor recreation industry through advocacy, networking, marketing and resource support. We are invested in the development of our business districts and main street revitalization efforts to support long-term economic growth and a thriving community.

• We actively work to strengthen strategic partnerships with regional and statewide stakeholders. Recently, CCEP and the City of Lock Haven were recipients of an $80,000.00 disc golf course to be located in Peddie Park in Lock Haven providing an additional opportunity for outdoor recreation and sports tourism.

These accomplishments reflect the dedication of our members, municipal partners, elected officials, volunteers, and residents. Together, we are creating new opportunities and building a stronger future for Clinton County.
